No, both the real Villa Bramasole and Villa Laura are private properties. We will view them from the outside or roadside to respect the owners’ privacy, but you will still get fantastic photo opportunities to recreate Frances’ magical discovery!
Your English-speaking driver/host will provide plenty of information, history, and movie trivia while on board. However, please note that guided walking tours inside the towns are not included. Your free time in Cortona and Montepulciano will be unguided, allowing you to explore at your own pace.
No, meals, snacks, and wine tasting are not included. We believe in giving you the flexibility to choose what and where you want to eat. Your driver will be happy to recommend an authentic local osteria for lunch during your free time in Montepulciano or Cortona.
Both Cortona and Montepulciano are historic Tuscan hilltop towns, meaning there are cobblestones, steps, and steep inclines. While your driver will drop you off as close to the main areas as possible, a moderate amount of walking is required. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us in advance so we can tailor the stops to your needs.
Yes! Since this is a private tour just for you, you have the flexibility to adjust the pace. If you want to spend a little more time taking photos at the Temple of San Biagio or relaxing in Piazza della Repubblica, just let your driver know.
