Our route is perfectly timed to chase the best light. You will cross the charming hill of Arcetri—a place dear to Galileo Galilei—before arriving at the two most spectacular viewpoints in Florence right at the climax of the day. Enjoy the unrivaled view from Piazzale Michelangelo as the sun sets behind the red roofs and Brunelleschi’s Dome, and capture the last light of dusk from the magnificent terrace of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte. No, the very center of Florence is a strictly protected UNESCO pedestrian zone. We designed this specific tour to escape the crowds and explore the spectacular, less accessible hills and panoramic viewpoints that standard vehicles struggle to reach.
This is a scenic driving tour. We will make stops at magnificent landmarks like the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte and Villa del Poggio Imperiale to admire their exterior architecture and the surrounding views, but we will not be going inside.
Due to the compact size of the vehicle, there is very limited storage space. We cannot accommodate large suitcases or bulky strollers. A standard handbag, small backpack, or a foldable umbrella stroller is perfectly fine.
