From there you pass Palazzo Bevilacqua and the church of Santi Apostoli e Sante Teuteria e Tosca before ducking under the ancient Porta Borsari.
Crossing the Ponte della Vittoria, the route follows the Lungo Adige before reaching the Rondella delle Boccare and Rondella della Baccola — two lesser-known medieval fortifications that reveal a hidden layer of Verona’s defensive history most tourists walk straight past.
